- Contents of the Master-Disk
-
- - The folder MASTER contains the program, the helpfile and a sample STARTUP
- file.
-
- - The folder BATCH contains more examples for batchfiles.
-
- - The folder TOOLS contains 4 useful programs:
- - MOUSE.TOS resets the mouse if some program has messed it up.
- - DESK.PRG allows you to use accessories from Master.
- - INDEX.TTP allows generating your own HELP files.
- If you want to write a own HELP-file, it should look like the MASTER.HLP
- file (see also in the user manual, appendix A). The source for this program
- can be found in the SOURCE folder.
- - TE is a simple terminal program with a system call interface to Master. This
- program appears with kindly permission of the author Stefan Brueck. The
- documentation is in TE.DOC.
-
-
- - The folder TUTOR contains the disk tutorial. These files are further examples
- for batchfiles. [[ They are not translated to english yet. ]]
-
- - The folder SOURCE contains the sample programs from appendix D of the handbook
- and index.c.
- The programs have been developed (like large parts of MASTER) with the
- MEGAMAX-C compiler. The also contained sources for Module-eXtensions have
- been compiled with GNU-C. The files can be compiled with an ANSI-C compiler.
-
- - The folder MODULE contains some Master-Module-eXtensions:
- - POPUP.MMX installs the menu function as described in appendix C.
- - CATCH.MMX is documented in catch.doc and installs a signal handling
- mechanism analoguous to Unix.
- - SCREEN.MMX shows how the module interface may be used to create debugging
- tools (this Module allows setting the screen boundaries).
-
- We hope that Master will soon become your most important working tool on the
- Atari ST.
